The next Metallurgy-Litmash, Tube Russia, Aluminium/Non-Ferrous, will kick off in conjunction with the tool machinery fair Metalloobrabotka on 24 to 27 May 2010.

A comprehensive overview of innovations for the metal pipe and metalworking industries. Messe Dusseldorf is organising this show together with its longterm Russian partner Metal-Expo and also cooperates closely with all of the relevant international and Russian industry associations including the International Tube Association (ITA), the German Engineering Federation (VDMA), the European Committee of Industrial Furnace and Heating Equipment Associations (CECOF), the European Foundry Equipment Suppliers Association (CEMAFON) and the European Metallurgical Equipment Association (EUnited).

Moscow’s trade fair duo creates positive impetus for the metallurgy industry

Leading trade and contact platform for the metallurgy industry
reflects robust economic climate in Russia

Thanks to high prices on the global markets, Russia’s metallurgy industry is in a strong financial position. According to the German Office for Foreign Trade (bfai), the country’s seven biggest steel companies alone racked up combined sales of USD 25 billion in 2006, producing USD 8.5 billion in profits. Apart from company acquisitions abroad, the steel smelters and aluminium businesses are investing at home, above all, in new plants.
The need for upgrades remains high and experts predict that growth in investment will continue in the double figures for the coming years.
